This data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Organic Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

 

2. Consent

By reading the present Privacy Policy, the user is informed about the way in which "Checkin Hotel Group" collects, treats and protects the personal data that are provided to it through the web site www.checkinhotelgroup.com (en adelante el sitio web), (hereinafter the web site), as well as the data pertaining to its connection and navigation through the web site and those other data that it may provide in the future to 'Checkin Hotels' through the Accommodation Contract or any other authorised means.

 

3. Purpose of the processing of your data

  • To manage your personal data when you contact CHECKIN through the contact form. Also, your data will be processed in order to manage your reservations and queries that you send us through the channels provided for this purpose on our website.
  • Manage the bookings made, including the management of the payment (if applicable) and the management of your requests and preferences.
  • To manage the sending of personalised commercial communications from 'Checkin Hotel Group', by electronic and/or conventional means, in those cases in which the user expressly consents to it.
  • To manage the provision of the contracted accommodation service, as well as additional services to the stay.
  • To manage the carrying out of surveys and/or evaluations relating to the quality of the services provided by "Checkin Hotel Group".  

The User's data will be kept for the period of time necessary for the fulfilment of each purpose or until the User requests that "Checkin Hotel Group" unsubscribe, opposes or revokes his/her consent.

 

4. What data do we process and from what source are they obtained?

The data processed comes from:

  • Data provided by you, through the completion of the forms provided for this purpose.
  • Data derived from the provision of the service. This category includes browsing data through the public website or bookings that you provide us with indirectly and which are derived from the provision and maintenance of this activity.

  • Data provided or transferred (with your consent) by third party companies that provide outsourced services in CHECKIN's establishments (e.g. telecommunication networks, internet access, excursions, etc.). Depending on the service, the data processed comprises the following typology:
  • Identification data (e.g. name, surname, first name, ID card, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number).
  • Economic and operational data related to the transactions carried out in the CHECKINs (e.g. data of the consumptions made in the CHECKIN establishments).
  • Data on goods and services transactions (e.g. payments for services performed).
  • Commercial information data (e.g. interest in products or services).

 

5. To whom is your data communicated?

The User's data may be communicated to: 

  • Companies in which "Checkin Hotels" participates or belongs to the "Checkin Hotels" business group, solely for internal administrative purposes and/or for the aforementioned purposes.
  • Entities operating the hotels managed by "Checkin Hotel Group" or in commercialisation, solely for internal administrative purposes and/or for the aforementioned purposes.
  • Suppliers of "Checkin Hotels" or of the hotel operators necessary for the proper fulfilment of the legal obligations and/or of the aforementioned purposes.
  • Partners and collaborating companies of "Checkin Hotel Group" for the fulfilment of the aforementioned purposes and/or, if so authorised, for the sending of commercial communications.
  • Public Administrations, in the cases foreseen by the Law.
  • We may send your information internationally, including to countries outside the EEA. Some of these jurisdictions offer different levels of protection for personal information.

 

6. How long do we keep your data?

The User's data will be kept for the period of time necessary for the fulfilment of each purpose or until the User requests that "Checkin Hotel Group" unsubscribe, opposes or revokes his/her consent.

Subsequently, the data will be deleted in accordance with the provisions of the data protection regulations, which implies its blocking, being available only at the request of Judges and courts, the Public Prosecutor's Office or the competent Public Administrations during the period of limitation of any actions that may arise and, once this period has elapsed, we will proceed to its complete deletion.

 

7. Responsibility of the user

  • Guarantees that he/she is of legal age or legally emancipated if applicable, fully capable, and that the data that he/she provides to "Checkin Hotel Group" are true, exact, complete and up to date. To these effects, the User is responsible for the veracity of all the data that he/she communicates and will keep the information provided suitably updated, in such a way that it corresponds to his/her real situation.
  • He/she guarantees that he/she has informed the third parties from whom he/she provides his/her data, if he/she does so, of the aspects contained in this document. Likewise, he/she guarantees that he/she has obtained their authorisation to provide their data to "Checkin Hotel Group" for the aforementioned purposes.

9. What data is obligatory?

The data requested in the forms accessible from the "Checkin Hotel Group" Web Site are, in general, obligatory (unless otherwise specified in the required field) in order to comply with the established purposes. Therefore, if the same are not provided or are not provided correctly, the same cannot be fulfilled.
